How do I find an expense?

Open Search and type: it finds groups and people by name, and expenses by what they were for or by their notes, as you type, whatever the accents. It searches what is on your phone, so it works offline too.

Tap Filters to narrow the expenses it finds. Filters work together and with the words you type, or on their own:

• Group: one of your groups.
• Person: what they paid for, with Paid, or every expense they are in, with Is in it.
• Category: one category, a built-in one or one of a group's own, which finds only that group's expenses.
• Date: this month, last month, the last 30 days, this year, or days you pick with Choose days.
• Amount: At least and At most, in each expense's own currency.
• Only those with: a Receipt, Comments, or that Repeats.

Each filter you turn on shows under the search field in plain words. Tap one to take it off, or Clear filters to take them all off; they stay when you switch tabs. While a filter is on, only expenses are listed, newest first. When more than 50 match, the list says how many, and another word or filter finds the rest.
