The agreement

These terms are between you and the developer of Evensies, who trades as Freedom Terminal. By using the app or this website you accept them. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps also applies.

What is free and what you pay for

Downloading Evensies, joining a group from an invite and everything you do inside a group are free, with no limits. Creating your own groups takes one in-app purchase, Create groups, paid once. It covers every group your account creates. There is no subscription and there are no ads.

The purchase belongs to your Evensies account. Restore purchases in the app moves it to the account you are signed in to. Once a purchase has moved to an account, it can move again after seven days.

Refunds

Apple takes the payment, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's rules. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. If a purchase is refunded, the account can no longer create new groups; groups it already created keep working.

What you put in

What you add stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the members of the group you add it to, which is what the service is for. Add only what you have the right to share, and don't use Evensies to break the law, to harass anyone, or to attack or overload the service.

Evensies keeps records; it doesn't move money

Evensies works out who owes whom and records payments you make elsewhere. It never moves money. Exchange rates come from outside sources and can differ from what your bank charged, and a scanned receipt can be misread: check amounts before you settle up.

No warranty

We work to keep Evensies running and correct, but it is provided as it is, without warranties, and it may change or stop. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses from using it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Ending

You can stop using Evensies and delete your account at any time, in Account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, and disputes are heard in its courts. When they change, the date at the top changes; continuing to use Evensies after that means you accept the new terms.
