How does Sign in with Apple work?

On the welcome screen of an iPhone or iPad, tap Continue with Apple, above Continue with email, and confirm in Apple's sheet. Apple signs you in, with no code to wait for.
The first time, Apple asks whether to share your name and email address. If it shares your name, a new account takes it and Evensies doesn't ask what people should call you. An account you already have keeps its name.
If you choose Hide My Email, Evensies gets a private address from Apple that forwards to yours, and that is your account's address. Continuing with Apple and with an email code reach the same account when they use the same address, so with Hide My Email, keep continuing with Apple.
If Evensies says Sign in with Apple isn't available right now. Continue with email instead., or that Apple didn't share an email address it has checked, tap Continue with email instead. Closing Apple's sheet just takes you back.
If you stop using Sign in with Apple for Evensies in your Apple Account settings, or the device's Apple Account changes, Evensies signs out on that device, as Sign out does.
