What is the weekly email, and how do I stop it?

In Account, under Notifications, turn on Weekly email. It is off until you turn it on, and it goes to your account's email address, the one written under the switch. Changing it needs a connection.

Once a week it lists what you owe, to whom and in which group, and how many expenses, payments, comments and people changed in each of your groups that week, by other people. It never says what an expense was for, and it isn't sent in a week when nothing changed and you owe nothing.

It is written in your phone's language when that is English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch, and in English otherwise.

To stop it, turn Weekly email off in Account, or use the unsubscribe link at the end of any of them. The link needs no sign-in: it opens a page that asks before it unsubscribes you, and your mail app's own unsubscribe button stops it at once.

An outside email service sends it, so your groups' names, the names of the people you owe and the amounts pass through it. The privacy policy names the service and says what is kept.
