How do I delete my account?

Open Account and tap Delete account, then confirm. It needs a connection, happens at once and can't be undone.

Your account and personal data are deleted, including your email address, your sign-in sessions, your notification settings with the Weekly email, and How you get paid, and the app clears its copy on your phone as signing out does. Any other phone signed in to the account is signed out the next time it reaches our server.

Groups belong to all their members, so what you added stays: expenses, payments, comments, receipts, notes and cover photos, and your name in each group, no longer linked to any account. Everyone else's balances still add up. To have your name taken off a group as well, write to us.

Your purchase is unlinked from you but kept, so the Apple Account that bought it can restore it to another Evensies account with Restore purchases, once seven days have passed since it was bought or last moved.

The privacy policy lists exactly what is deleted and what stays, and the trust page says how to keep a copy of your groups first.
