How does signing in work?

Tap Continue with email, type your email address and tap Send code. Evensies emails you a 6-digit code that works for 10 minutes. Type it in, or let your iPhone or iPad fill it in from Mail, and you are signed in as soon as all six digits are there. There is no password to remember.

On an iPhone or iPad you can continue with Apple instead, with no code to wait for. Sign in with Apple has the details.

The first time, Evensies asks what people should call you. On the same screen you can turn on Send me occasional news about Evensies; it stays off unless you do.

You stay signed in until 90 days after you last used the app. Sign out in Account signs this phone out and removes your groups from it; Signing out lists everything it deletes. Changes that have not reached our server yet are lost, so sign out while you have a connection.

Your name in Account is the name new groups and invites use. A group you are already in keeps the name it knows you by: to change it there, open that group's Group settings, swipe across your name under People and tap Rename.

Default currency in Account is the currency your new groups start in, and the one Evensies estimates your overall balance in.
