How do I join a group from an invite link?

Tap the invite link someone sent you. With Evensies on your iPhone or iPad, the link opens the app's join screen; if you aren't signed in yet, sign in first and the invite waits for you. The screen says who invited you, the group's name, how many people are in it and its currency.

If someone added your name before you joined, Which one is you? lists the names nobody has claimed yet. Pick yours to take over its expenses, or tap None of these, add me. Then tap the join button. Joining is free.

Without the app, the link opens a page on this website with the group's balances, names and amounts only, and the page keeps working in that browser until someone in the group taps Stop sharing link or the group is deleted. Once you have installed Evensies, tap the link again to join. If you copied the link, Paste your invite on the welcome screen, or on Groups while you have no groups, does the same.

For joining, an invite link works for 7 days, and stops sooner if someone in the group taps Stop sharing link, or the group is archived or deleted. If the app says the link has expired, ask whoever sent it for a new one.
